box (1 lb) white angel food cake mix
Water called for on cake mix box

cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Chocolate-flavor syrup, if desired
Fresh berries, if desired

Move oven rack to lowest position (remove other racks). Heat oven to 350°F. Make cake mix as directed on box--except gently stir chocolate chips into batter. Bake, cool and remove from pan as directed.

To serve, cut into 12 slices. Drizzle each slice with chocolate syrup; top with berries.

TERRIBLE RECIPE
This was the WORST I agree!!! Thought I would try it even though there was a bad review - tried to make the chips smaller in the food processor but that didn't work - exactly like they said - chips all sank to the bottom and burned the bottom of the pan and the cake got stuck. It was terrible - TERRIBLE ended up with a store bought angel food cake for mother's day.

This was a disaster. All of the chocolate chips sank to the bottom and stuck to the pan, so I dont even know how it tasted!
