Bread Machine Olive-Parmesan Bread

Bread Machine Olive-Parmesan Bread
Recipe Tip
Ovations for Olives
Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats from olives may help lower blood cholesterol. But fats are high in calories so keep portions small.
Substitution
One-half cup of sliced, pitted olives can be used in place of the 2 1/4 ounce can of sliced ripe olives. Use your favorite olives, such as kalamata, Sicilian or Moroccan.
Success
To ensure that there are large pieces of olive in the bread, add the olives to the machine at the fruits/nuts signal.
An easy bread gets a flavor boost from Parmesan cheese and olives. Your bread basket will never be the same! From eatbetteramerica.

Soooo good!
First time to use the machine so I was apprehensive. It was superb! I had to use canned parmesan and I threw in a spoonful of pesto and kalamata olives. I made tuna salad to go with it and it was really really good sandwich bread. I will be making this again. And again!

That's hearty!
This is a pungent hearty bread. I made it with wheat flour and the texture was great. Might halve the amount of Parmesan next time.

Olive Bread
This bread was wonderful. I used half bread flour and half whole wheat graham flour. Only because I had a small bit left and needed to use it. The combination was fantastic. I used green olives since that is what I had in the fridge. I will make this bread again soon.

Bread Machine Olive-Parmesan Bread
I have made this bread twice. It went fast both times. The first time I made it, I followed the recipe to the letter. The bread was good, but a little too salty. The second time I made it, I rinsed and drained the olives before adding them. This technique made a world of difference. The bread was not as salty as the first loaf.
